Kym Nelson - Writer, Comedian, Comedy and Creative Facilitator

As a comedian, my style is energetic, blending storytelling, character work and observational comedy.

I’ve trained with the UK’s top comedy coach, Jill Edwards, and the legendary French master clown,
Philippe Gaulier.  As a comedian and performer, I’ve taken my one-woman shows to major arts
festivals like the Edinburgh Fringe and performed at renowned venues, including Boom Chicago, as
I also wrote the script and directed a comedy play for the Camden Fringe. I have performed alongside
some of Europe’s most celebrated comedians and hosted comedy nights in Brussels, including sold-out
shows at the Bridge Theatre and the Nine Women's Members Club, which made headlines in the
Brussels Times for selling out within 48 hours!

But beyond the stage, I bring the art of stand-up to workshops designed to shake up the corporate

world, inspire individuals, and spark creativity. Using techniques from improvisation, creative visualisation,

and performance,  I help people break through self-doubt, embrace their inner clown, and communicate

with impact. Whether it’s for team building, public speaking, or simply finding the confidence to own the room, my workshops create an unforgettable space for play, growth, and fearless expression.

I'm big on turning fear into fun - because the best ideas (and the best laughs) happen outside the comfort zone.
